Basic Information
As an internet radio broadcaster, BandWagon Network Radio is required to let you know we are authorized to broadcast through a statutory license issued by Soundexchange – the designated royalty collector by copyright law in the USA.
Because we are a licensed internet radio station, we have requirements to meet the obligations of that license in accordance with U.S. Copyright Law before considering music for airplay. For any song, you submit, you must provide us with the information below embedded into the MP3 file.
Information Required
- Genre
- Song Title
- Artist and Contributing artist
- Album Name(insert song title if just a single)
- Songwriter(s), Composers, and Publisher
- Label (leave BLANK if Independent)
- ISRC – Note: songs without this number will be rejected instantly
Audio Format
In order to submit music to BWNR, songs must be MP3. We use a sophisticated professional broadcast software that requires a bit rate of 320kbs(also known as HD Audio). The size of the audio file DOES NOT indicate that it is HD audio.
Metadata
ALL songs submitted must have the information shown above embedded into the MP3 file. This is to make sure all the information about your music is submitted when BWNR sends Performance Reports to Sound Exchange at the end of every month. BWNR recommends MP3TAG
as a free, easy to use choice. We STRONGLY recommend against embedding personal data like websites, phone numbers, or addresses in the comment field of your MP3 files. It is easy for any one to get access to it.
What To Send Us
- 1- 320kbps tagged MP3 file of the song you want to be considered by BWNR Submissions
- Social Media Links or EPK
- Facebook Group Link(if you have one
- 3000px x 3000px artwork for the album(song) so it displays when airing
