Bandwagon Radio Network announced today that they have changed format on several of the shows aired by the network. They also provided information on a new shows and several feature changes to the main station Bandwagon Network Radio(BWNR).
“As an all genre radio network, I felt that it’s important that the branding of these shows reflect the main vision and goals set back in 2014 when the network was created.”, stated Cliff Broyhill, Co-owner/Operations Director.
“It was also important to make sure the programs were scheduled at times that got the most reach based on their format. It wouldn’t make sense to air Melbourne 2 Madrid which features artists from the eastern half of the world to be on in the middle of the night there.”, he also said.
The network has also added a new show called Progressively Indie which will feature artists from the Progressive Rock genre. The station debuts Tuesday, 8-11-2020 at 2 pm CDT USA and runs Tuesday through Friday each week. BRN will be posting more details on the Bandwagon Network Radio Facebook page soon about increasing the number of songs in the library.
“We work with Progressive Gears Records from Ireland, a fantastic company, and a couple of other independent labels and radio promotion sites from Europe but would like to hear more of what’s out there.”, Cliff said. “BWNR can’t grow without these types of changes and paying attention to the ever evolving indie music landscape. Especially in 2020 when so many things are stopping some of these bands and artists taking steps forward in their careers.”, he also told BWNR News.
