All music genres are back!
Starting on February 1, 2019 BWNR returned to its roots as a multiple genre, independent artist only internet radio station.
The station reverted to the original multiple format because of seeing a drop in listener count in 2018.
In 2017, BWNR set a record for listener counts with the format but a majority of the genres had stopped submitting except for Rock.
“When the decision was made to go with all rock, it was based on the lack of response from every other genre; especially country and country rock”, states Cliff Broyhill BWNR Owner.
“Since the beginning of 2019, with the help of Indie Radio Promoters and huge support from Musik & Film Records and Radio Promotions, the station has not only received more of the music it was missing but the opportunity to turn over a vast majority of our library”, he also stated.
BWNR will be producing and hosting multiple new hours of programming featuring a mix of these songs from around the world. As well, some of them will be genre specific plus the return of several popular BWNR programs from the past.
