The Bandwagon Radio Network was founded in Ogallala, a small city in the Sandhills region of western Nebraska in February 2014 with the mission of giving independent musicians and artists an opportunity to get their music aired in a true radio station format. In October of 2014, the station was moved to Ash Grove, Missouri – a small town northwest of Springfield, in the Ozarks region of Missouri. It has been broadcasting live from there since then. Since that time, BWNR has received songs from all over the world.

The station plays a mix of music throughout most of our broadcast day as well as top-notch produced syndicated shows and in-house produced shows which currently include: “Sunday CD Showcase” and the long running, very popular “Rockin’ the Weekend” programs.

BWNR also creates their own weekly and monthly charts that are based on “spins” based on the report generated by the stream host – the same report sent to Soundexchange & picked up by mainstream charts too. As well as listeners showing their approval by “liking” the songs while they are being aired. Each Monday, the Top 25 songs are featured on the “BWNR Weekly Top 25” program.
The Bandwagon Radio Network is one of the rare Internet Broadcasters who is not associated with any media company and, like the artists we air, the station has worked hard to maintain its status as an independent radio station since its creation. Bandwagon Network Radio is a registered station with Soundexchange and as such pays royalties to registered members every month.
