Additional Charts released Starting in September
Genre Charts As Well as Monthly Top 100
Bandwagon Radio Network has updated the monthly BWNR Charts to include charts specific to the genres they air as well as the current all genre monthly Top 100.
Starting in September 2020, the following new charts will be released during the first week of each month.
TOP 25 Rock, Metal and Blues
TOP 25 Country, Bluegrass & Americana
TOP 25 Today’s Pop, Rock, Country
TOP 25 Traditional AC, Soft Rock & Pop Rock
On September 2nd, along with the overall Top 100, the new Rock, Metal and Blues chart and the Country, Bluegrass and Americana will be posted.
The network will announce the two other new charts when they come out in October when the network releases the September charts.
This will allow the team to properly review the current song library to make sure the songs are in the correct basic genres BRN uses on their 24/7 internet station, Bandwagon Network Radio(BWNR).
BWNR Charts are Listener based with fan feedback
BRN Charts aren’t based on fan polls although the fans do have a say in what we air in several ways.
When a song airs (“spins”) on BWNR, and someone “listens” to it, it is tracked. If a listener likes it and taps our version of a “thumbs up” on the audio player, it lets us know. At the end of each month, all those numbers get swirled around and when it’s done, we have our charts.
So the more you listen to your favorite indie artist and tap our version of a “thumbs up” on the audio player, the more spins your artist gets.
